The development to reduce steering wheel turns is an important requirement for safety

especially in this area, the hurdles are demanding, since the customer perceives any disharmony in the steering feel as extremely disturbing.

Steer by wire or active steering, for example, clearly show that without the mechanically correct basis, reproducible smooth steering is not possible. Nor can the high demands be satisfied with a progressive steering rack.
